Italian performer Federica Basile is currently in the ensemble of The Phantom Of The Opera in London's West End playing the wild woman and understudying Carlotta Giudicelli. She previously was a member of Grammy Award - winning vocal group THE SWINGLES.

Born in 1988 in Padova, Federica at age 3 participates at "Zecchino D'Oro" the most important Italian TV show for Kids, with the song Maddalena La Balena.

Federica trained in Musical Theatre at the Accademia del Musical di Castrocaro directed by Fabiola Ricci, where she graduated in 2017. She then played the role of Pia De' Tolomei in the Italian production of La Divina Commedia the Musical in 2017 - 2018 and 2020.

From 2018 to 2023 she sang and toured the world with The Swingles, one of the most renowned Vocal Groups in the world. One of her last compositions "Verderame" features in the group's EP of original music "The View From In Here", published in 2021.

In 2023 she fulfilled her dream of performing in a West End production in the show of her dreams: The Phantom Of The Opera.

Federica has a bright, light and friendly voice and is a versatile singer, with experience in a variety of styles and genres, including pop, rock, jazz, soul, gospel, classical, Musical Theatre.

Vocal range: E3 - E6. Legit /Belt

She occasionally works as a session singer for movie soundtracks and sound libraries, as well as an international touring musician.

She also work as a Voice Over Artist for movies, TV series and online advertisements.

In 2021 she started working as a Vocal Coach for singers/performers.

In 2023 Federica joined the London's company of The Phantom of The Opera, fulfilling her dream of becoming a West End actor and performing on His Majesty's theatre stage every night.

THE SWINGLES

From 2018 to 2023 Federica worked with the Grammy Award winning, world touring vocal group The Swingles as their first Soprano.

With the group she travelled and performed from the United States to Hong Kong, from Canada to Australia.

The group was founded in 1963 in Paris by American musician Word Swingle, and has since then released over 20 albums and performed in over 100 countries around the world.

In 2021 the group released their first EP of all original music The View From In Here. All 5 tracks were written and arranged by the group during the Covid-19 Pandemic between 2020 and 2021.

The View From In Here featured the first ever original Swingle Song in Italian, Verderame, music and lyics by Federica
